Parent & Child Healthy Eating Trail

Join your little one this summer holidays on a Healthy Eating Farm to Fork Trail at selected Tesco stores. Gain lots of practical knowledge, such as how to avoid added sugars and how to make muesli.

About this trail

Our Parent & Child Healthy Eating Trail is available for 4 – 11-year-olds and helps you and your children learn about healthy food choices and where to find nutritional information about what you eat.

What happens on the trail?

  • Together you’ll learn that fruit and vegetables are healthy foods and we should aim to eat at least five portions a day.
  • You’ll also learn where sugar comes from, as well as how to read nutritional charts to avoid eating more sugar than the recommended allowance.
  • The trail will allow children (and parents!) to taste and find out about healthy snacks.
  • They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day – now’s your chance to make your own muesli together and learn that it can be a healthy option to start your day.
